This is the view from our window balcony upstairs. It is beautiful!
We got to bed quite late last night. It seems to be rainy season here. It rained quite hard last night and then again this morning and afternoon. It is not constant rain though. The house we are staying at is quite nice. We just got our first hot water showers this evening.
Observations so far:
1. There is no wasted space in this town. There are homes everywhere.
2. The weather is cooler than I thought it would be. It is in the 80's during the days, but always a pleasant breeze blowing.
3. Food seems comparable or even a little cheaper.
4. The grocery store was overwhelming! So many more produce than what is offered at our stores.
5. Milk comes in boxes and bags, and tomato sauce and salsa come in a box.
6. There is a whole section of the store devote to bread, and it is delicious!
