My mom came out to help us by watching the kids while we were in GA. She was able to also stay the next week. It was really a wonderful time! I loved visiting with her, and it is amazing how much easier homework and the evening schedule goes when there are three adults in the house! We were able to go out just the two of us for lunch one day, and the day before she was to leave the kids actually had the day off of school. So we decided to all go bowling. Nathaniel had never been bowling before, and I think he ended up with a better score than me! :) Kris, of course, crushed the competition! The rest of us were very thankful for the bumpers! The highlight was that ShaeLynn and Mom got strikes for the first time ever! Afterwards, we went out for some ice cream to celebrate! It is such a special memory!
