It is incredible to believe that our baby is now five years old. Every other year we give a party for our kids. This year is girls' year for birthday parties, so to celebrate Nathaniel's birthday we invited one of his friend's family over for supper, cake and ice cream. It was a WONDERFUL time! Everyone got along so well and enjoyed each other. It had been a while since we had gotten together with the Schmidts, and it was just so fun! Nathaniel's big wish this year was for a gun to go with his cowboy boots. (He also asked for a rope, but we didn't think that would be such a good gift for him at five!) So he was ecstatic when he opened up the gun from Aunt Kayla! Such a cowboy!
