We woke up Thanksgiving morning to about 3 inches of snow. It was really beautiful! Of course, the kids could hardly wait to make it outside to play. I did not have all their snow pants and winter apparel pulled out yet, so the whole process of getting them outside took about 40 minutes. I told them they had to stay outside long enough to make it worth that 40 minutes. They had a great time and stayed out a little over an hour! Yeah! That made it easier to pull things together for our Thanksgiving Dinner. We actually were prepared a head of time which meant we were able to watch the Packer game while the food was cooking.
We had Tony and Karis Templeton and Scott Rodman over to celebrate with us. As usual we had more than enough food which meant we had to lay low and watch a movie after sitting around the table and visiting. The kids all played together really well, totally enjoying each other. After the movie, we had some dessert and put the kids to bed. Then our good friends the Roundys came by. It really felt like old times visiting with friends till the wee hours of the morning! It really was a wonderful day!
