Nathaniel and I climbed the Incline one Saturday morning. Not my favorite hike...simply because there are so many people on the trail!
In August there was a hot air balloon festival. The day we went to see them lift off they couldn't because of upper level winds, I guess. But this one came right over our house the following weekend.
ShaeLynn and I went on a field trip to Painted Mines Park in Calhan. It looks like a mini Badlands. It was fun to hike there together.
Robbie and ShaeLynn on a hike with Kris and I at Red Rock Canyon. Beautiful! I want to do some more hiking there.
The family hiked at Helen Hunt Falls. It was a great short hike that was very scenic.
A family trip to Fox Run Park. It has a lot of great perks. Two little "lakes"...more like ponds. Tree covered hiking trails. Places to throw the frisbee. A playground area for the little kids. Picnic tables. Very close by too!
