Last weekend we took the kids on their first camping trip. Some friends of ours had convinced us to go camping with them at Devil's Lake. I am not sure we will do another camping trip again for a long time! ShaeLynn and I were sick, so we spent the night coughing together. What we did enjoy was the hiking. We took two hikes together as a family, and Kris was able to take the kids out in a canoe on the lake. We decided that we are better at doing day trips! :)

Looks like fun! I think I like day trips better, too, at least if the kids are with us. I love the b&w picture of the girls! Beautiful!
