This morning we awoke to a phone call at 5 am. It was an automated call letting us know that the kids were going to have a snow day! We slept in a little and the day turned out to be quite festive because it is ShaeLynn's birthday. We let her choose the meals for the day, so we started off with some blueberry coffee cake. After breakfast the lightly falling snow turned into HUGE snowflakes. It really looked like a snow globe outside! Beautiful huge flakes! The kids went outside to play in it, and I captured some of their fun.
