Fans

During this vacation, we have taken the opportunity to do some things we just don’t get around to during the busy school year. All of the fans we had purchased since arriving in the country in January had stopped working. One of the great things about living here is that labor is cheap, so you can find places to fix all your appliances. Kris asked a fellow he works with about a place to fix fans here in the town where we live. Sure enough, down a very narrow little alley in the middle of town, there was a row of places that fix fans. We dropped off our four fans. When we came back an hour later, they were working again. The total charge for fixing four fans: $11 dollars. One fan can run you around $25 dollars here, so we were thrilled to have them all working again.
