Nathaniel has started playing soccer on Saturday mornings. It has been really fun watching him play. He has never played with a team before. Every Saturday each team plays two games. Each half is 12 minutes long. The teams range in age from 3rd graders to 7th graders. Unfortunately most of Nathaniel’s team is 3-5 graders, so some of the other teams can be really difficult to play against. What I love, though, is watching his work ethic shine through. Nathaniel has always been a very hard working kid. Even when he is tired on the field, I don’t see him giving up. It is motivating to me to keep going even when I am tired or feel like giving up.
