Faith

The last couple of months have been really difficult for me. Kris and I are interested in doing missions work overseas again, but we really want to know if this God leading us or us just wanting to go. We are also weighing in our family needs. Sometimes I just feel like why would God's answer to us be no when there are so many other people who do not want to live overseas. Yet, I am trying not to lean on my own understanding. In the midst of our prayers regarding this, we have been exploring several options...one in Africa, one in Thailand, and one in the Philippines. In so many ways, God keeps speaking to me about the importance of faith. Without faith it is impossible to please Him. I am not sure what that means in regards to our future, but I do realize that the journey is as important as the destination. If you read this and want to pray specifically for us, please ask that God would guard our hearts against discouragement and doubts and clearly open and close doors for us. We really want His will for us.
