Trip to Madison

We asked this lady at the Children's Museum to take a picture of us all. Her daughter climbed right into the picture with us. She kept asking her daughter to come out of the picture, but she didn't want to. I didn't really care. I think it is kind of funny! :)

Last week my mom came out for the week and was able to be here for Grandparent's Day at the kids school. I was so happy to be able to spend time with her! The day after she arrived was Saturday, and Kris was working on a BIG paper for a class he is taking, so she and I took the kids and spent the day in Madison. Madison is a neat city because it isn't too big, and it is very family oriented with lots of things for kids to do...many of them being free! :) We spent some time at the Children's Museum. It is probably the last time we will do that because all the kids are getting too big for that museum now. Then we went to the Overture Center and watched a free show. We were going to go see the Butterflies too, but it was a rainy day. So we walked around a little in the state capital building. It is such a beautiful building! Then we headed for home.
