Grandparent's Day

Every year the school celebrates Grandparents Day. This year there was a Hawaiian theme. All the Grandparents and surrogate grandparents come for the celebration. One child from each class reads a literature piece they have written themselves and there are all kinds of art pieces and pictures around the school of children and their grandparents. This year our surrogate was Grandma Ann. She adopted the kids because for the longest time none of her children had children of their own. She couldn't stand no having grandkids. So now she has 14; some adopted and others from her own kids. ShaeLynn was chosen to read a piece of her writing from her class. She had written about the day she was born. It was a nice version of the events of that day. : ) It was a very fun day, and we were so thankful that Ann could be with us!
