We went to Kansas for Easter this year to spend time with my sister and her family! It was wonderful! We had not seen them in a year! The kids had such a great time with their cousins! We celebrated Lexie's birthday, painted Easter eggs, took a trip to the park, the kids played on the trampoline and built a fort. The weather was beautiful! We left Wisconsin early Good Friday morning with about an inch of snow on the ground and more falling heavily, and we arrived in Kansas to beautiful clear blue skies and sixty degrees. It wasn't that warm the whole time we were there, but it was definitely warmer than Wisconsin. We even made home made ice cream while we were there. YUM! We were so sad to go! I think we all thought the time went by too fast!
