History

Well, I guess it is becoming quite popular to keep in touch with blogs, so here I am creating my first one. I thought it might be good to give a little history on our family first. Kris and I have been married nearly 12 years and we have four children. We met overseas, and we have felt God leading us to be involved in missions. We went through mission's training with New Tribes Mission, but ended up joining a small organization called FRIENDS In Action. We were overseas for about 15 months setting up an office and incorporate the organization as a non profit. Then we came back due to medical concerns and were asked to run the computer department of FIA. Added to this responsibility was leadship for overseas missionaries and running the communications department. We worked in Missouri for four years, but felt God moving our family to Wisconsin in 2005. For the last two years, we have continued to work with FIA remotely. This moved has allowed Kris to dive into video and graphics more, two of his loves!

Now we are at another crossroad, we have resigned from FRIENDS In Action as of March 31, 2007. We are hoping to be involved in full time ministry still. That is still where our hearts are. But we are not yet sure where the Lord is leading us.

We have agreed to work for FIA till the end of June to tie up some of our loose ends. This week Kris is in MO helping to pack up the computer department. The leadership of FIA has decided to move their office to Elizabethtown, PA. It is sad to see everyone heading different directions and to see the building where we worked becoming a skeleton again.
